Another tiring day; lessons after lessons, then tuition at night.

Got back another assignment today. Tutor's remark was very short, only 8 chinese characters: “分析分明条理,很好!”(Hopefully you can see the chinese characters :p) I thought it means my report was ok bah; maybe not the best but definitely can pass. (ha ha, I only used 3 days to do it, compared to some who took more than a week)

Just as I was enjoying my short moment of happiness, my tutor walked over to us. He looked at me then told my classmates “奕成的报告写得不错喔!真是‘士别三日,刮目相看’”He was my tutor 3 years ago. What he meant was I had improved tremendously. I am surprised by his comment because he is very stingy with praises.

Multicultural Studies lesson was boring. Last lesson, as usual, we joked throughout the 2 hour lesson. We thought we could appeal to our lecturer to cancel Wednesday 6.30pm lecture, but she say no. Haiz... no choice then, have to go back for lesson lor.

7.30pm: tuition time. Ai yo, this P4 little indian girl is so lazy. The workbook I told her to do a week ago is still incompleted. Not only that, the composition she had to submit last week is still in her bag, also incompleted. I told her, he can be getting good grades now, but if she is going to be complacent about that and choose to be lazy, her grades will definitely drop. By the way, she is taking Chinese as Second Language (her parents are both indian wor).

Something happened after that. Details not to be mentioned. But I learn something from the incident: Making mistakes does not make one become a bad teacher; but being able to admit ones mistake and learn from it will definitely make one become an even better teacher.

Happy Memories:

A birthday gift I received in 2005. Not the most expensive gift I had received, but is definitely till now the most meaningful one. It was then given by a little friend. At that time we don't really know each other well, but when he gave it to me, I was really touched. Gifts don't have to be expensive, its the thought that counts. Now, this little friend has become my little buddy.

Another gift I treasure a lot. Given to me in 2006 before Chinese New Year. It is only a paper fish, but it means a lot to me too. There is a message in the fish which says "Wish you always happy!" Whenever I am sad I would look at the fish and the little teddy bear. Miraculously, all my troubles will be gone, what comes into my mind will be the happy memories I shared with these two buddies of mine.
